Clear Pricing. Independent Production Support.
GAO Knitwear provides independent knitwear development and production support for fashion brands working with manufacturing partners in China.
Our service fees are separate from factory production costs. Factory quotations are presented separately, with no hidden markup added to factory prices.
These rates are a guide. The final service fee is confirmed based on the project requirements and agreed scope before work begins. All fees and responsibilities are agreed upon in advance.
Our Service Fees
First Order with GAO Knitwear
8% of goods value
For your first production order with GAO Knitwear. Covers factory sourcing and evaluation, costing and quotation coordination, sample development coordination, factory communication and production follow-up, according to the agreed scope.
Repeat Production Orders
5% of goods value
For the same product produced by the same factory, subject to the agreed service scope.
New designs, factory changes or substantial redevelopment may require a different service arrangement. Any changes to the fee will be agreed upon before work begins.
Large-Volume Orders
3–5% of goods value
For larger production orders, with the final rate determined by order volume, product complexity and the level of support required.
Monthly Production Support
From US$700 / month
For brands seeking a long-term working relationship with GAO Knitwear, a monthly service arrangement is also available.
This option is suitable for brands that need ongoing China-side production support across multiple styles or orders, rather than working on a single order at a time.
Depending on the agreed scope, monthly support may include factory communication, yarn and material coordination, sample development and revisions, production follow-up, and quality coordination.
The monthly fee covers all services within the agreed scope. No additional order-based service fee is charged. Factory production costs remain separate. The monthly fee and scope are agreed upon before the engagement begins.

How Does the Pricing Work?
01 — Share Your Project
Send us a tech pack, sketch, reference image or existing sample. Estimated quantities and delivery requirements are helpful if available.
02 — Review the Requirements
We assess the product, estimated order quantity, development needs and production requirements to determine the appropriate level of support.
03 — Confirm the Scope and Fees
We agree on the service scope, fee structure and responsibilities before work begins.
04 — Coordinate Production
We work with the selected manufacturing partner through the agreed stages, from product development and sampling to bulk production and delivery.
Factory production costs and GAO Knitwear service fees are listed separately, giving you a clear understanding of the costs involved.
